With a dramatic year meeting its end, the Atal Rankings of Institutions and Innovations Achievements (ARIIA) released the rankings for the year 2021. BIT Sindri has secured its place as a “Band Performer“. This is a trailblazing achievement for the institute and the students.
The rankings were released by the Union Education Minister of State Dr. Subhas Sarkar, on 29th December ’21. The ARIIA is an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India to systematically rank all the higher educational institutions and universities in India on the parameters of “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development ” amongst the students and faculties. There are various indicators of ranking viz. Budget, Infrastructure & Facilities, Awareness Programmes, Innovative Learning Methods, and many more.
IIT Madras topped the rankings while the other IITs and IISc maintained their top positions in the rankings. IIT ISM grabbed a prestigious place in the list of Band-Excellent. BIT Sindri along with NIT Jamshedpur was bestowed with the priceless label of “Band-Performer”.
It is a piece of delightful news for BIT Sindri and all accounts for its constant growth in quality innovation and startup activities on the campus.
It is a sweet fruit of the labor of the Training and Placement Cell and the Startup Cell of BIT Sindri. Numerous programs in the form of webinars and events were organized by these two forums. They have been proactive and keen on students’ welfare. The regular webinars and events organized by them have focused on promoting vibrant innovations and encouraging new startups. There is no uncertainty that the webinars and events conducted regularly share a huge credit for the institute standing under the label of ARIIA Band-Performers. The entire college fraternity has reaped the fruits of its labor. The college fraternity as a whole has received the benefits of their efforts.
The quality rankings and reports by various initiatives of MoE like the ARIIA compels the institutes to stand up with enlightened innovations and startups. These rankings ignite a fire to consistent endeavors and target exponential growth, not just for the institute, but for the students and faculties too.
There have been many things to think, speculate, enjoy, or be desperate about this year. But, with the end of 2021, the Atal Rankings of Institutions and Innovations Achievements for BIT Sindri came as a sweet surprise after this eventful year.
